MOLALLA, OREGON: Molalla School Board passed a Resolution declaring November, Parents' Partnership In Education Month, affirming "the constitutional right of parents to direct the education and upbringing of their children." Molalla board members decided to call it a Resolution instead of a Proclamation, and changed one word in the title from Rights to Partnership. See Molalla Resolution Here
What About Parents?
Supreme Court decisions have repeatedly supported Parents’ Rights, especially in relation to public schools. PRIE foresees this rural district, Molalla will set a new standard. Parents are going to engage not only in their schools, but School Board elections will take on a new focus for the better.
